In October of this year, the entertainment world mourned the loss of "Friends" star Matthew Perry, who passed away at 54. His death, attributed to the “acute effects of ketamine,” sparked an intense criminal investigation.

The autopsy findings disclosed that Perry had been receiving Ketamine treatment for depression. However, due to ketamine’s swift breakdown in the body, the report determined that “the ketamine in his system at death could not be from that infusion therapy.” This revelation led investigators to believe that Perry obtained the lethal dose from an alternative source.

In June, In Touch revealed a startling new development in the case: “Officers seized an iPhone and a laptop from a [famous] woman’s room at a sober living residence in L.A. and brought her in for questioning,” an insider disclosed. The Friends actor, who passed away in his hot tub at 54, had “formed an unexpected friendship” with this celebrity during one of his many rehab stays.

On June 25, In Touch identified the cooperative celebrity as socialite and actress Brooke Mueller, 46, ex-wife of actor Charlie Sheen.

Now, in another exclusive report, In Touch has uncovered that a second celebrity friend might be implicated in Matthew’s drug-related death investigation. This probe is being carried out by the LAPD, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. According to a source, both Matthew and this second star, who claimed to be sober, were actually “walking pharmacies.”

They allegedly engaged in late-night discussions about their struggles with addiction, sobriety, and their personal lives. There is photographic evidence of Matthew and this friend together at a doctor's office where ketamine was prescribed, raising further questions. The source believes that Matthew and his friend may have “helped” each other by referring their respective doctors when their drug supplies ran low.

Examining the relationship between Matthew and the second celebrity friend could lead to new insights into the source of the ketamine that led to his death, claims the source. “If the feds had either one of their phones — especially [the second celeb’s], because she doesn’t erase her text messages — they would probably find conversations about the drug and ‘How can I get extra?’ Like, ‘Oh, come see my doctor if you need more,’” the source stated. “It will not look good for the celebrity.”

On June 25, In Touch identified this second celebrity, who has been “completely cooperative with authorities,” as Brooke Mueller, 46, Charlie Sheen’s former wife. She was reportedly “in total shock and had no idea what the search warrant was about” when police arrived.

The source added, “It’s tough to say or know exactly what her role is [in Perry's death], but she’s adamant she had nothing to do with that,” and, “She’s being tight-lipped about the situation.”
