Dhanush's Telugu debut, Kuberaa, which also has Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, has been doing great business at the box office. After receiving a strong opening, the movie performed exceptionally well over the weekend.
Till now Kuberaa has done a business of Rs 48.50 crore at the box office, according to trade website Sacnilk.
According to Sacnilk, Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula, collected Rs 17.25 crore net on Sunday in India, bringing the total collection to Rs 48.50 crore after three days.
The movie saw a good opening and earned Rs 14.75 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 16.5 crore, an 11.8 % rise on Day 2 (Saturday).
The Telugu version of Kuberaa has been doing better than the Tamil one, but whether it can top the box office hauls of Daaku Maharaaj, HIT: The Third Case, and Good Bad Ugly is an open question.

Kuberaa is the story of a beggar (Dhanush) who finds himself part of a bigger conspiracy when he trusts a former CBI officer working for a greedy CEO.
Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Rashmika have been praised for their performances in the film.
A success meet was also held in Hyderabad on Sunday evening, where music composer Devi Sri Prasad said he hopes that Dhanush get a National Award for his outstanding performance in Kuberaa.
He said, “I know you’ve gotten National Awards before, but I wish and pray you get one more. Most of the time when I wished and prayed, it happened. Even when I wished so dearly for my friend and my brother Allu Arjun for Pushpa…I’m the first one who said he should, and he will win a National Award for Pushpa. He won it. Now I wish that for Kuberaa, you should, you must, and you will win for your fantastic performance.”
As the success meet, Dhanush thanked the fans for their love for Kuberaa.
