Earlier this week, controversial YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, who is currently under legal restrictions, released yet another video involving actress Kim Sae Ron. Despite being banned from posting content about her, Lee shared alleged footage suggesting she was romantically involved with someone other than Kim Soo Hyun, challenging her previously stated timeline.
The YouTuber presented multiple clips, including one where Kim Sae Ron is reportedly seen holding hands and allegedly kissing a man. Though their faces were blurred, Lee Jin Ho emphasised that the video’s *metadata revealed it was taken on May 27, 2019, thereby questioning the rumoured relationship between Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun.
Lee said in his video, “Let’s first take a look at the photos of Kim Sae Ron with her partner at that time. Some may argue that holding hands with a friend doesn’t necessarily prove they were in a relationship. To clarify that this was a date, I have decided to reveal a scene where they can clearly be seen as a couple. I hope you understand."
He continued, "Since these were taken from a considerable distance, Kim Sae Ron’s face is not clearly visible. However, this video was taken by one of her closest friends, who was surprised to see Kim Sae Ron engaging in public affection and decided to film it. This footage eventually circulated to some staff members at her agency, and through similar processes, I was able to obtain it. The metadata of the video confirms that it was taken on May 27, 2019. This means that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were both dating different people at the same time, as this evidence shows.”

In response, Kim Sae Ron’s family has denied the allegations, as reported by Sports Kyunghyang. They claimed that on the night of May 27, 2019, Kim was with a female acquaintance, not a male partner, and even contacted her mother before 1 am that night. They further mentioned her phone contains personal images and videos from that evening, supporting their account.
Last month, Kim Sae Ron’s family filed a lawsuit against Lee Jin Ho, leading to his current content ban.
