Bollywood actor Amit Sadh shared screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput in the 2013 sports drama, Kai Po Che. However, the actor has recently talked about Sushant Singh’s death and admitted he doesn’t know if the late actor had died by suicide.
In a recent interview with Filmfare, Amit Sadh said, “I don’t know if he committed a suicide…I don’t think so, he was a guy who would do that, you know, not in a negative way, but he was.. You know, actors have to be as like I am self-absorbed to a certain level.”
He elaborated, “You have to because the process is that you have to sleep in time, you have to wake up in time, you have to educate yourself, you have to do your lines, that kind of makes us a little too focused… I don’t think so, he had that.”
He further talked about working with Sushant on Kai Po Che and added, “I don’t know whether he took that step, but I do like I do miss him because when we were doing the film, we were brothers, and yes, once the film went away, everyone went away. You know how the movie business is… but the love stays, the respect stays, and his passing affected me.

Amit Sadh also revealed that he went to a dark place after Sushant’s death. He wanted to leave everything but his close friends, “caught me at the right time, just untune the place I was going in.”
He added, “I also know that there was a time when he was alone… There was a time that what he was going through, he had also shut himself.”
Kai Po Che also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role and follows three friends who start an academy to train aspiring cricketers. Their life took a drastic turn following an earthquake, an unstable political situation and communal riots.
