Rahul Dev mourns the death of younger brother Mukul Dev, shares details of his cremations

Indian actor Mukul Dev died on Friday at the age of 54. He received touching tributes from several celebrities, fans, co-stars, and close friends. However, Mukul’s younger brother Rahul Dev has also mourned the death of the late actor.

Actor Rahul Dev took to his Instagram Story and released an official family statement on the sad demise of Mukul.

The statement reads, “Our brother Mukul Dev passed away peacefully last night in New Delhi… He leaves behind his daughter Siya Dev, sister Rashmi Kaushal, brother Rahul Dev and nephew Siddhant Dev.”

The actor also invited everyone to Mukul Dev’s funeral service at 5 pm today in Delhi. He wrote, “Cremation at 5 pm… Address: Dayanand Mukti Dham, H6QR, Nizamuddin West, Delhi 110013.”

Mukul Dev took his last breath in a hospital in Delhi after being admitted to the ICU amid health woes. He was 54.

The late actor has left a mark on Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam films, along with the television industry. He received tributes from Manoj Bajpayee, Kangana Ranaut, Veer Dara Singh, Neil Nitin Mukesh and more Indian celebrities.

Mukul was a trained pilot and had studied at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi before starting his acting career in 1996 with the TV series Mumkin. He went on to make his film debut the same year in Dastak, starring alongside Sushmita Sen. He is known for his roles in films like Son of Sardaar, R... Rajkumar, and Jai Ho.
