Naga Chaitanya's highly anticipated film Thandel is set to release in both Tamil and Hindi. The Hindi trailer for the movie was recently unveiled in Mumbai, with Bollywood icon Aamir Khan attending the event as the chief guest. During the launch, Aamir took a moment to commend the film’s lead actors, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, praising their performances.
Aamir Khan, in the meantime, expressed high praise for the Thandel trailer, stating, "When the story is good, the audience will definitely watch the film. I really loved the trailer; it’s fantastic and beautifully shot. Dinka Chika, composed by DSP, is my favorite song—I can’t help but dance when I hear it."
“The story of Thandel is moving, and the emotions are conveyed beautifully. Chay is an amazing actor, and so is Sai Pallavi. Chay is an ideal co-star—absolutely on the ball, a complete team player. He’s a great human being to be around. We share a wonderful fondness for each other.” Aamir added.
At the event, Naga Chaitanya also shared a meaningful connection with Aamir Khan. He reminisced about working on Love Story with Sai Pallavi, revealing that Aamir had watched the trailer of the film and sent him a message, saying, "What a lovely trailer, can I come for the event you’re having in 2 days?” Aamir’s presence at the event brought immense positivity, and the film went on to become a major success.
Naya continued, "Now, with Thandel, a film that Sai Pallavi and I are doing together, Aamir is here to launch the trailer. It’s such a magical moment for me. If this film succeeds—and I’m confident it will—I will make sure Aamir Khan launches the trailers for all the films that Pallavi and I work on in the future."
Reflecting on his time with Aamir Khan during the making of Laal Singh Chaddha, Naga Chaitanya added, “I spent six months working with Aamir, and he left a huge positive impact on me. I learned so much from him, not just as an actor but as a human being. That influence will play a big role in my life.”
On the work front, Aamir Khan is busy promoting his son, Junaid's film, Loveyapa alongside Khushi Kapoor, on the other hand, Naga Chaitanya who got married to actress Sobhita Dhulipala in December is enjoying his marital bliss.
Thandel is slated for release on 7th February in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
