Xbox fans compel Capcom to release the game collections on the Microsoft platform
In recent news, Capcom confirmed that the digital edition of Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics will come to PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) on September 12, 2024, while the physical edition will arrive on November 22, 2024, but only on PS4 and Nintendo Switch and not on PC.
The previous week, Capcom also confirmed that it would release the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2025.
Since Xbox was left out of the platforms in both cases, Xbox players and fans took to social media to vent their frustration. Capcom and Marvel took notice and made the decision to launch both game collections on Xbox too.
