After launching the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite smartphones last week, it seems Vivo is gearing up to launch another smartphone in the lineup soon. New details regarding an ‘FE' phone have been picking up momentum since the last few weeks. Now, a new leak has revealed that this rumoured smartphone, which could be named the Vivo V70 FE, could be launched later this month. Moreover, the phone’s key specifications, colour options, and other details have also been tipped.

Through an X post, tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) has claimed that the Vivo V70 FE could launch in Indonesia on February 28, with an Indian launch to follow soon. The handset is mentioned to be offered in Muse Purple, Ocean Blue, and Titanium Silver shades. It may sport a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is slightly bigger than the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite, which feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display.

Further, the handset is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset, unlike the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets on the V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. The tipster also adds that the smartphone may arrive with three configurations: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 8GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. For optics, the V70 FE is tipped to feature a 200MP primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. At the front, it may have a 32MP selfie camera.

Further, it may get multiple AI image editing features such as AI Travel Portrait, AI Retouch, AI Best Face, and Film Photo mode. On the software side, the device is likely to run OriginOS 6, with the leaked poster suggesting up to six years of system updates and five years of smooth performance. In terms of battery, the Vivo V70 FE could pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W charging. It is also expected to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings.
