Developers Aniplex and JOYCITY have announced the release date of Resident Evil: Survival Unit. The free-to-play mobile horror strategy game will launch on iOS and Android on November 17, the developers confirmed. The survival horror game features well-known Resident Evil franchise characters of Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield and Jill Valentine in a brand-new story.

In Resident Evil: Survival Unit, the player has to team up with a bunch of survivors after their city is gripped by an unknown infection. Your survival in this infection-ravaged world depends on how well you strategise with your teammates against the hordes of the infected.

Resident Evil: Survival Unit allows players to build their base (you have an abandoned mansion to fortify), gather and strategically use the resources and lay out defences. Each survivor comes with a certain skillset and can be assigned to roles based on that.

In this game world, there are other survivor groups out there, too, which you will come across while looking for resources. If you get them on your side, your chances of survival against the infected increase. Choices matter a lot in Resident Evil: Survival Unit; with careful and smart management of resources and tactful dealing with other survivors, you can make your base more secure.

The game description reads: “From building placement and operative deployment to combat loadout, every choice you make will influence battlefield readiness in real time. Expand and reinforce your stronghold and forge alliances that lay the foundation to survive. Every decision directly impacts your chances of survival.”
