Rohit Sharma left his fans worried after a video emerged of him entering the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Monday night. The video surfaced late in the evening. The Indian cricket icon or his representatives are yet to officially disclose the reason.
In the video, Rohit can be seen walking into the hospital, appearing in no physical discomfort. He even momentarily turns towards the camera, but his expression surely left his fans guessing.

Meanwhile, Rohit gave a strong response to doubters by acing the pre-season fitness test at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru on Sunday. The development came amid reports of his uncertain future in international cricket.
The premier batter has been out of action since IPL 2025, during which he also announced his retirement from Test cricket. Having already retired from T20Is as well, Rohit's services are now just limited to ODIs. He is expected to make a return in Indian colours when the team travels to Australia for white-ball series, which features three ODIs, starting from October 19, and five T20Is, which gets underway from October 29.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team are back in action after a gap of over a month since the grueling five-match series against England, which ended in a 2-2 draw. As the focus shifts from red-ball to white-ball, India would hope to carry forward the momentum and defend their crown at the Asia Cup 2025, which gets underway from September 9.
India will launch their campaign a day after when they play UAE in Dubai and the much debated clash against Pakistan is scheduled for September 14. India then travel to Abu Dhabi for their final group stage fixture, which is against Oman on September 19.
The Asia Cup 2025 will be played in T20I format and marks the return of Shubman Gill and Jasprit Bumrah to the format.
