Bangladesh cricketer Nurul Hasan produced a sensational moment in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as he smashed West Indies star Kyle Mayers for 30 runs in the final over of the clash between Rangpur Riders and Fortune Barishal. Riders captain completed one of the greatest chases in T20 cricket just like India's star cricketer Rinku Singh did in the IPL.

Chasing 198 looked difficult at one moment for the Riders when they lost Alex Hales in the second over. However, a poor-bowling display from Fortune Barishal handed their opposition a chance to win and they grabbed it with both hands. Nurul Hasan, captain of Rangpur Riders smashed 37 off 7 deliveries helping his team seal the victory staying unbeaten with strike-rate of 457.14.

"Well you know when I went to the crease, Khushdil told me that we can win the game from here. All thanks to God and I am very happy. Yeah, you know, obviously we required to keep our focus on the ground. It is still a long way to go and we will be focused for the next game. Still a long way to go in the tournament. Iftikhar and Khushdil batted really well and added up a crucial partnership. Long way to go for us so hope for the best," said Nurul Hasan, Rangpur Riders Captain, who was awarded the 'Player of the Match'.

What exactly happened in the last over?

Kyle Mayers was entrusted with bowling the decisive over when the opposition needed 26 runs from 6 balls, but the pressure was immense as Nurul Hasan turned the game on its head. Hasan began by smashing a massive six to deep mid-wicket, then followed it up with two consecutive boundaries, reducing the target to just 12 runs from the last three balls.

The tension escalated as Hasan hammered another six to deep square leg on the fourth ball. He then struck a boundary on the penultimate delivery, setting the stage for a dramatic finish.
