IPL 2025 prize money: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Tuesday's Indian Premier League (IPL) final in Ahmedabad to win their maiden title. RCB were restricted to 190/9 after being asked to bat first. Virat Kohli, whose emotions were understandable, finished as the top scorer with 43(35).
Punjab in response got off to a decent start chasing the tricky total, but after the Powerplay RCB injected blows at regular intervals to switch the momentum. Punjab at the end fell short by six runs, managing 184/7 in 20 overs as Bangalore finally won the elusive trophy after eighteen years, with Krunal Pandya playing a big role.
