Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg have taken on an unexpected form at a recent US exhibition — as robotic dogs in a futuristic art installation titled “Regular Animals.” Created by digital artist Beeple, each of the robot dogs is priced at $100,000 (about Rs 96 lakh).
The installation at Art Basel Miami Beach features robotic quadrupeds programmed to walk, sit, and lie down. Each dog bears a hyperrealistic silicone head of a famous figure, including tech billionaires and art legends like Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso. But the most bizarre feature? These dogs periodically activate “poop mode,” flashing the phrase on a screen mounted to their backs before ejecting printed artworks from their rear.

AI-powered artworks from the dogs' point of view
Beeple explained that the robots are “continuously taking pictures and ranking those pictures to find the most interesting ones,” then reinterpreting those images in the artistic style of the person whose head they wear. Over 1,000 prints will be distributed during the installation, which runs through December 7.
“This combines dynamic sculptures, photography, and AI into one output where the audience literally becomes part of the artwork just by viewing it,” Beeple wrote on Instagram. “We will increasingly be viewing the world through the lens of AI.”

Reactions online range from 'creepy' to 'capitalism metaphor'
Social media users compared the installation to sci-fi films like Mars Attacks and Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Others called it “eerie yet strangely satisfying,” with one remarking: “Feels like the perfect metaphor for capitalism somehow.”
