Indian cricketer and Mumbai Indians' ex-captain Rohit Sharma, often referred to as 'Hitman' due to his powerful batting, is an inspiration to many. In 2015, Rohit married Ritika Sajdeh, and the couple has since welcomed a daughter named Samaira. Although Rohit comes from a humble background, many are surprised to learn of his connection to Bollywood through his wife’s family.
Ritika was Rohit’s manager before they began dating. She worked at Cornerstone Sports in Mumbai, a company owned by her first cousin Bunty Sajdeh. Rohit Sharma and Ritika started dating in 2008, married in 2015, and welcomed their daughter roughly three years later.
Ritika is closely linked to Bollywood; her cousin Bunty is the CEO of Cornerstone Sports, which represents famous athletes like Sania Mirza and KL Rahul.
Additionally, Ritika's other cousin, Seema Sajdeh, is a fashion designer and was married to Sohail Khan, who is Salman Khan's brother. Seema and Sohail were married from 1998 until 2022 and have two sons, Nirvaan and Yohaan.
Seema has also gained recognition from her appearance on the Netflix show 'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives', where she featured alongside other celebrity wives such as Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Panday, and Neelam Kothari.
In 2023, during a podcast interview with Shivani Pau, Seema revealed that she and Sohail had been separated for a few years before they officially filed for divorce in 2022. She shared that they initially stayed together for the sake of their children, but eventually, she had to make a tough choice between trying to save her marriage and focusing on her children's needs, choosing the latter.
Recently, Sohail Khan shared his insights on relationships in a podcast conversation with his nephew Arhaan Khan. He spoke about the nature of relationships and advised that they should be maintained as long as happiness lasts. Sohail suggested that when the excitement fades, it’s better to part ways amicably rather than letting the relationship turn bitter. He emphasized that holding onto negativity can only harm one's feelings towards the other person. His philosophy is straightforward: like all things that have an expiry date—from food to medicine—so can relationships.
