Fire breaks out at Shiv Thakare’s Goregaon home, team confirms no injuries

A fire at Shiv Thakare’s Mumbai residence created a wave of concern among fans on Tuesday, now the actor’s team has confirmed that he is safe. The incident took place at his home in the Kolte Patil Verve building in Goregaon, where a sudden blaze caused significant damage to the property.

Fire brigade officials were seen inspecting the residence, assessing the source of the fire and ensuring no further risk remained. The footage made it clear that this wasn’t a minor accident; the blaze had spread enough to leave the interiors badly affected.

Shiv’s team issued an official statement soon after. It read, “@shivthakare9 faced a mishap this morning as there was a fire breakout at his Mumbai residence in the Kolte Patil Verve building. The actor has not incurred any injury, but the house faced the brunt!” The emphasis was on reassuring fans that Shiv himself was unharmed, even though the damage to the flat was extensive.

At the time of the incident, Shiv wasn’t in Mumbai. He had only landed in the city the previous evening, sharing an Instagram story from the airport captioned “Back to Mumbai.” The timing made the situation all the more unsettling, because the fire occurred barely hours after his return.

Shiv Thakare’s journey to fame has always carried the undercurrent of someone who fought his way up. Born and raised in a small town in Maharashtra, he built his career slowly and steadily. His stint in MTV Roadies created the first wave of attention, but Bigg Boss Marathi and later Bigg Boss Hindi took him into mainstream recognition. What set him apart was his mix of vulnerability and resilience, a combination that audiences found genuine.

Over the years, he has appeared in Khatron Ke Khiladi and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, further expanding his presence on television. Even so, Shiv has consistently tried to maintain a private personal life. In a recent interview with Times Now, he put it plainly: “Kuch cheezein private rakhni mujhe bahut pasand hai. Baaki aap decide kar lo, par main khush hoon.” He added that even if he were to form a close bond with someone, he would prefer to keep it away from public scrutiny.

Most recently, Shiv featured in the music video Rajj Rajj Nachan, a vibrant pre-wedding dance track sung by Divya Kumar, Ishika Hirve and Sikandar Maan. He starred alongside Rashami Desai, and the pair drew praise for their chemistry and lively screen presence.
