On July 31, Space X is planning to launch the Polaris Dawn mission. In this mission billionaire Jared Isaacman's will be a part and it will be his second spaceflight.

During this mission, there will be four crew members, the spacecraft named Crew Dragon will be launched on Space X Falcon 9 rocket from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

The accompanying comrades along with  Jared Isaacman are pilot Scott Poteet and two specialists - Sarah Gillis and Anna Menon.

The members of this mission will spend five days orbiting the Earth, at 700 km altitude making it the highest-ever flown Earth orbit crew mission. This will make it the highest Earth orbit ever flown by a crewed mission, surpassing previous records and paving the way for future deep space exploration.

The Dragon spacecraft will pass through the Van Allen radiation belt, which will allow the crew members to do observations. Space X has designed a new suit for the members as it is a crucial step for developing scalable spacesuit designs for future long-duration missions.

The Polaris Dawn crew is doing this mission to test Starlink's laser-based communications system in space, aiming to gather crucial data that will enhance future space communication networks necessary for missions.

The crew will do scientific research to further our understanding of human health throughout the voyage. To better understand the effects of space radiation, this research will monitor venous gas emboli, which are gas bubbles that can form in the bloodstream. It will also investigate Spaceflight Associated Neuro-Ocular Syndrome (SANS), a condition that impairs astronauts' vision. Finally, the research will contribute to a long-term biobank for future studies.

SpaceX is partnering with several esteemed institutions for the Polaris Dawn mission. These include the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH) for scientific research.
