Rameshwaram Cafe will reopen on Friday, March 8.

Following the bomb blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, the co-founder and CEO of the eatery, Raghavendra Rao, on Sunday called for strict action and asked the state government and the Centre to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future.

"I request the government of Karnataka and India to make sure that this incident should not happen anywhere in India," Raghavendra told reporters, extending his solidarity with the people and staff who were injured in the incident. On Friday, at least ten people sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment following an explosion at the Brookefield outlet of Bengaluru's popular eatery.

"I want to convey my strong regards to people who have got hurt. I wanted to say that we are with them, their family" Raghavendra added. "One woman lost her eyes, and we are there with her. We are with our staff, four or five people, who are hurt very badly. We need all your blessings to show what the power of youth is and to say we are Indians and we are no less than anybody."

The Rameshwaram Cafe CEO also said that they would reopen to the public on Friday, March 8, on Mahashivratri.

"As we face this challenging situation, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the authorities for their support. We firmly believe that no force can dampen the spirit of our nation. We have decided to reopen our Brookfield outlet within a week of the unfortunate incident, which is on the auspicious day of Mahashivratri, the 8th of March (Friday)," he said.

Making the announcement on X, Rameshwaram Cafe's official account stated that they would embrace the setback for a powerful comeback and are committed to bouncing back stronger from the incident and offering "safe and exceptional dining experience you've come to expect".
