A day after a low-intensity blast rocked Bengaluru's popular eatery Rameshwaram Cafe and left 10 people injured, CCTV footage released by the police shows the suspect walking into the eatery, placing an order for a plate of idli before walking away.
Wearing a cap and glasses, the suspect appeared to check his watch as he hurried away from the cafe.
The owners of Rameshwaram Cafe said that the explosion took place in an area reserved to wash hands and the material that caused the explosion was kept inside a bag. "The explosion happened in the area where customers wash their hands. There was nothing in the kitchen that exploded. Something that was kept in a bag exploded," Rao told TV9 news channel.

"Investigation of the case has been handed over to the Central Crime Branch (CCB). All the injured are recovering. No arrest (have been) made," he wrote on X.
Earlier in the day, police sources said that four people have been detained for questioning in connection with yesterday's low-intensity bomb blast at a Bengaluru eatery. They were picked up from Dharwad, Hubballi, and Bengaluru.
Dayananda said that the investigation into the incident, caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), is underway. "Several teams are working on different leads obtained so far," he said.
