Air India warns of cascading network disruptions
Air India also cautioned passengers that flight departures on December 31 are likely to be affected, particularly for services operating to and from Delhi. According to the airline, the dense fog forecast could trigger cascading disruptions across its network.
The airline highlighted its FogCare initiative, under which passengers booked on select fog-affected flights receive advance alerts about possible delays. Eligible travellers can opt for a full refund without penalty or reschedule their flight at no additional cost, offering some flexibility amid weather-related uncertainties.

SpiceJet, in a post on its official X handle, warned of potential delays in both arrivals and departures across several cities, including Delhi, Srinagar, Amritsar, Jammu, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Darbhanga, Guwahati, Bagdogra, and Patna, on December 31, 2025. Delhi Airport operating under CAT III conditions
Dense fog engulfed Delhi-NCR in the early hours of Wednesday, December 31, significantly reducing visibility and disrupting air travel.
