Malti Marie turns 2: Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas hold special puja on daughter's birthday, Madhu Chopra joins

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s daughter, Maltie Marie, turned two on January 15. The couple celebrated their baby’s birthday with a grand party and a special puja. While Jonas shared a string of pictures from Malti’s birthday party on Wednesday, Chopra dropped another set of pictures in which the family can be seen praying at a temple in Los Angeles.

In the first picture, Malti was seen in a pyjama set with a huge garland around her neck, followed by a snap from her birthday bash. In the image, she was wearing an adorable pink sweater paired with red pants, tiara and heart-shaped sunglasses.

The special puja was attended by Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra as well. “She is our miracle. And she is 2,” wrote the “Sky is Pink” star in the caption of the post.

Several stars took to the comments to congratulate the parents and wish Malti a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday baby girl,” Dia Mirza wrote. Mindy Kaling commented, “Happy birthday to this cutest cutie.”

“Awwww! She looks so cute. Happy Birthday Malti,” Priety Zinta commented. “Happy birthday beautiful baby girl!” wrote Lara Dutta.

On Wednesday, the musician shared a slew of pictures from his daughter’s Elmo-themed birthday party as well. “Our little angel is 2 years old. There were pictures of the cute birthday cakes and several other snaps from Malti’s second birthday party.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their daughter via surrogacy in January 2022. Following her birth, the little one had to spend over 100 days in the NICU. “After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is,” Chopra wrote in a post on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Chopra and Jonas tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Udaipur in December 2018.
