A Bengaluru woman's movie-watching session has caught the internet's fancy, prompting a response from even Netflix India. Shreyanshi Shah on Sunday shared how she spent the evening all cosied up in her balcony with a projector propped up on books, all ready to begin watching a movie being projected on a wall.

"Movie under the stars in my very own balcony!" she wrote on X.

Reacting to the video, Netflix India commented, "I would cry watching Swades here."

Other users on X also lauded Shah's idea of utilising the balcony.

"Great idea for a dinner and movie at home date!," said one user while another added, "Had I been your neighbour, I wouldn't even have to worry about process of selecting which movie or series to watch. Would've to just sit on a vantage location in my balcony, and then enjoy. Am daydreaming now."

"Beautiful.. I too have such a setup in my balcony. It’s peaceful and perfect," wrote a third user.

There were also some who wanted to create a similar ambience at their homes.

"Thanks for the idea, I have a balcony with very similar vibes. Was planning to add a foldable table. Will plan accordingly now," said a user. "Just loved the virtual ambience and vibes. I'm gonna save the pic to create one for me," added another.

After the post went viral, several users requested Shah to share the details of the projector.

There were also some who shared that they too would have tried out the idea had they not been afraid of being sucked dry by mosquitoes.

"Mosquitoes in my balcony won’t allow this," wrote a user.

Some users, however, said they preferred to watch the real stars under the sky from their balcony.

"To each his own but I would be sipping on my preferred beverage and watch the real stars and the world go by than watching made up ones on that screen," wrote a user, while another added, "I rather watch a movie in 720p in my 32" monitor than watching in faded color projector."
