PUBG New State downloads cross 1 million within 24 hours

PUBG New State released in India and other countries has had a rocky start. The game is currently plagued with multiple issues and Krafton has assured to fix the bugs and glitches. Despite the not-so-smooth start, PUBG New State downloads on the Google Play Store have crossed the million mark. 

The Google Play Store listing of PUBG New State shows that the game has been downloaded over one million times within 24 hours of its rollout in India. The PUBG New State iOS app, on the other hand, is ranked number 1 in the Top Charts list. 

It is worth noting that the high number of downloads could be due to the game being available for pre-registration prior to its release. PUBG New State pre-registrations were live in many parts of the world since February 2021. The game is then automatically downloaded on the devices of players who had pre-registered. Although the game has been downloaded by over a million people on the Google Play Store, it has not been well received. The average rating of PUBG New State on Google Play Store is 3.7. The lower rating could be due to the plethora of bugs, glitches and other issues that hamper the gameplay experience. Krafton has listed a few ways to temporarily or permanently resolve these issues. Most of them can be fixed by restarting the app.
