Microsoft has officially rolled out Xbox Cloud Gaming to India, marking a major expansion in its mission to make gaming accessible to everyone, everywhere. India now becomes the 29th market to get the service, letting players stream and play hundreds of games across phones, PCs, TVs, and handhelds — no console required.
With the launch of Xbox Cloud Gaming, Indian players can now jump into blockbuster titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and the Indian hit Raji: An Ancient Epic, along with smaller indie games such as Detective Dotson and The Palace on the Hill. All you need is a high-speed internet connection, a Bluetooth controller, and an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
Game Pass remains central to the experience. Subscribers get hundreds of games for one monthly price, playable across multiple devices. The new localised pricing tiers — Essential, Premium, and Ultimate — make it easier for Indian gamers to choose plans that suit their budgets. Xbox has also refreshed Game Pass with expanded libraries and exclusive perks for games like Call of Duty, Overwatch 2, and Riot Games titles.
What makes Xbox Cloud Gaming special is its cross-device play. Players can pick up from where they left off, whether on a PC, console, or even a supported smart TV. The platform supports controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller, DualSense, and DualShock 4, while some games allow for keyboard, mouse, or touch input.
Getting started is simple: visit xbox.com/play using Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or Safari, sign in with your Xbox Game Pass account, connect your controller, and play. On supported smart TVs (Samsung, LG, or Amazon Fire TV), users can download the Xbox app and stream games directly.
The rollout across India is gradual, but Xbox Cloud Gaming’s arrival signals something big: gaming without boundaries, consoles, or waiting — just pure play, on your terms.
