Blinkit partners with Sony for delivery of Sony PlayStation 5 Slim in these three cities

Blinkit, the hyperlocal delivery platform from Zomato, has teamed up with Sony to bring the popular PlayStation 5 Slim to gamers’ doorsteps within10 minutes. Albinder Dhindsa, CEO, Blinkit, confirmed Blinkit’s new offering in a post on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Earlier today, Dhindsa also revealed that the service is now live. "We’re live! Blinkit customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru can now get the all new PlayStation® 5 Slim editions and controllers delivered in 10 minutes!,” he said in a post on X. We checked for the availability of PS5 on Blinkit in Delhi NCR and can confirm that the gaming console is available and can be delivered in 10 minutes.

Blinkit has been expanding into fast delivery of electronics, including smartphones. Earlier this year, the platform joined forces with Samsung to deliver the Galaxy S24 series in under 10 minutes across Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Prior to this, Blinkit had also partnered with premium Apple reseller Unicorn to deliver iPhones in 10 minutes.

The PlayStation 5 Slim, priced at Rs 54,990 for the standard edition and Rs 44,990 for the digital edition.

The PS5 Slim boasts a sleek design, packing the same power of its elder sibling in a 30% smaller chassis. Measuring 96mm x 358mm x 216mm, it's both lighter and fits in easily. The PS5 Slim packs in a lot of power with an 8-core AMD Ryzen Zen 2 CPU and AMD RDNA 2 graphics card. There’s also Tempest 3D Audio for immersive audio experience.

The PS5 has 1TB SSD storage space and also boasts 16GB of GDDR6 RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and keeping those open-world games running smoothly Connectivity options include USB-A and USB-C ports, along with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.
