Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on December 3 that the Bharatiya Janata Party's resounding victory in state elections shows the love and support for the party, and has increased his responsibility also.
Addressing workers, supporters, and party leaders at BJP headquarters, Modi thanked the voters for the mandate. He said: “I am thankful to every voter for trusting us. Even in Telangana, people have showed support to the BJP. We are fortunate to receive so much love from our family members. It doubles my responsibility also.”
Today, every first-time voter sees his/ her victory in these results, and women see their empowerment, he added and went on to exhort the role of women in guaranteeing a BJP win.
PM Modi said, “Throughout the campaign, I kept saying that women have decided to unfurl the BJP’s flag. And when women decide to support a party, it can never be defeated. Women have seen what has been done by the BJP in the past ten years. They have seen facilities of toilets, electricity, and bank accounts, and how BJP is committed to providing them new opportunities. Women empowerment is an important pillar of the BJP.”

Attacking the Congress party, the prime minister said the voters rejected its divisive politics that banks on freebies to win over the electorate. “The people have warned the Congress party to get rid of its politics that divide the country,” Modi said.
He said: “In this election, they (Congress) tried to divide people in the name of caste. But I believe there are only four castes -- poverty, farmers issues, women empowerment, and youth employment. And working on these will take our county forward.”

He also said that the Congress party never cared for tribals and thus, have been thrown out of power by them. Modi also said people no longer believe in freebies. “Voters of India want India’s development and therefore have been choosing the Bharatiya Janata Party.”
Ecstatic, the PM said that people are hinting at this hattrick being a precursor to what 2024 polls would look like. On that note, he commended the commitment of BJP workers towards the party and also praised party president JP Nadda for committing to the saffron party despite having to deal with a tragedy at home.
Moving to speak about the big BJP win in the assembly elections, he said: “these results will have a lasting impact”, and spoke about how he had predicted BJP’s Rajasthan win. “Usually I refrain from making predictions, but I broke this rule and told people we will come back to power in Rajasthan,” Modi said. Although the BJP lost in Telangana, he pointed out that the party’s graph is increasing in the southern state with every election.

Today’s results have created a positive energy in the country and this has strengthened the foundation of 'Vikshit Bharat'. We have to move forward together. We have to reach out to those who are far from us. For us, the country is bigger than the party, the Prime Minister said before concluding his victory speech.
Thanking the prime minister for his assistance and guidance, BJP president JP Nadda said: "We’re fortunate to have received a thumping majority in three states under the leadership of PM Modi. We are thankful to PM Modi for leading the campaign from the front and facing all the challenges. The country has shown it is only PM Modi who can ensure development at all levels."
"We have received the mandate from all sections, all regions, and all places in these elections," Nadda further said.
INDIA alliance tried to divide people on caste in these polls, but Modi showed his magic. The Congress tried to incite people on the OBC issue, but they forgot this country’s PM comes from the OBC community who has been working to bring people of all sections together, Nadda further said.
