Cyclone Michaung: Death toll rises to 12, Chennai streets waterlogged after heavy rainfall

The onset of the landfall of the severe cyclonic storm Michaung commenced in the region spanning from Nellore to Kavali in Andhra Pradesh. "The forward sector of system has entered the land," said the IMD on microblogging site X.
