Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh announced on Tuesday that he met with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella during his ongoing tour in the USA, focusing on collaborative efforts to enhance digital transformation and create opportunities in the state.
In a social media post, Lokesh underscored the need for guidance and support from the tech giant to advance the information technology sector in Andhra Pradesh.
Taking to microblogging site X, he wrote, "Had an insightful meeting with @satyanadella, CEO of @Microsoft. Sought his valuable guidance and support in advancing IT, AI, and skill development in Andhra Pradesh. Looking forward to collaborative efforts to drive digital transformation and opportunities in the state".

As part of his itinerary, Lokesh is scheduled to participate in the ITServe Alliance Synergy Conference in Las Vegas on October 29. Additionally, he will unveil an idol of former Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao in Atlanta on October 31.
On Monday, Lokesh visited Tesla's headquarters in Austin, where he met with CFO Vaibhav Taneja. During the meeting, he pitched Anantapur District as an ideal location for Tesla's electric vehicles and battery manufacturing units, aiming to attract investment and boost the local economy.
