Spicejet launches 2nd international flight from Kochi
Budget airline SpiceJet today launched its second international flight from Kochi connecting Dubai. SpiceJet is offering a daily direct flight from Kochi to Dubai and an inaugural low ticket fares of Rs 4,999 (one way fare inclusive of all taxes).

Budget airline SpiceJet launched its second international flight from Kochi connecting Dubai. SpiceJet is offering a daily direct flight from Kochi to Dubai and an inaugural low ticket fares of Rs 4,999 (one way fare inclusive of all taxes). At present, SpiceJet operates direct daily flights to Dubai from Delhi and Mumbai. The airline would also launch a flight to Dubai from Ahmedabad later this month, Spicejet CEO Neil Mills told reporters.

The airline has already announced it will launch Delhi-Riyadh and Delhi-Guangzhou flights from coming month, he said. With these new routes, the total number of international destinations on SpiceJet network would increase to six. At present SpiceJet flies to Kathmandu (Nepal), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Kabul (Afghanistan), Dubai (UAE) and Male (Maldives).SpiceJet has a 19.1 per cent share in the Indian domestic market. The airline currently operates more than 300 daily flights to 38 Indian cities, besides five international destinations Dubai, Colombo, Kabul, Kathmandu and Male.
