Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Taylor Swift has recently doubled her security after she allegedly received fresh threats from a suspected stalker.

The singer recently arrived at Arrowhead Stadium shielded by a bulletproof screen. While some of the Swifties called it a preview of her upcoming big reveal, others suspect it is a publicity stunt.

The latest step was an important step her team took to ensure her safety after unsettling events linked to a man who had harassed her on a regular basis. The increased security come after disturbing events involving Brian Jason Wagner, who has allegedly been chasing Swift since the middle of 2024.

Taylor Swift’s stalker has recently been charged for spreading false rumours about the singer, like he fathered a child with the singer, and breaking into her Los Angeles home on several occasions.

According to She Knows, Taylor has secured a temporary restraining order (TRO) against him, mandating that he maintain a distance of 100 yards. In court documents, private investigator Brooke Berg claimed that Wagner has avoided calls and attempts to deliver court documents, preventing the order from becoming permanent.

A source close to the singer has informed the outlet, “Her team has to be hyper vigilant because she has been stalked so many times and recently discovered she has been targeted by [online] groups on social media. She will change promotional plans or scale back if any threats she has received online are deemed to be serious by her security team. It’s horrible."

The source also suggested that Taylor feels “concerned" by the “depraved lengths he has gone to to invade her privacy."

Talking about the security screen, the insider explained, “They used the screen to keep her safe. They have used that screen before, but usually it is for the President or someone like that, not a celebrity. But this was a weird week.”

Taylor Swift is currently gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated album, The Life of a Showgirl, as well as her most-awaited wedding to her beau, Travis Kelce. She announced her engagement on August 26.
