Author and filmmaker Tahira Kashyap, who is currently recovering from breast cancer relapse, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi in an eco-friendly way. She shared a video of her celebration on social media.
Tahira created the idol of lord Ganesha by herself in the video. She is seen taking help from a YouTube video as she made the idol with clay. She also showed the process to her husband, Ayushmann Khurrana. The couple’s daughter, Varushka Khurrana, also helped Tahira in the process.
The video was captioned, “Ganpati Bappa Moraya! We welcome Ganpati with all our heart. may His blessings reach all #ganpati #ecofriendly #ghar #gharkamahaul.”
Tahira and Ayushmann are childhood sweethearts and tied the knot in 2008. The couple welcomed their first child, Virajveer Khurrana, in 2012 and a daughter named Varushka Khurrana in 2014.
On the work front, Tahira recently unveiled Manu Dhawan's second thriller book, The Fires We Become. She attended the event with Neeti Mohan and Raghav Sachar in Bandra on August 11.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana is reported to be the new Prem of Sooraj Barjatya’s universe. The actor is reported to play the lead in the upcoming Prem Ki Shaad. The shooting of the film will kick off this October. Ayushmann is also gearing up for his upcoming film Thama.
