  • Transfer the milk powder, desiccated coconut powder, and powdered sugar into a bowl and mix them well with a spoon.
  • Add milk as required to knead the dough with your hands. This should barely take 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Keep kneading the dough until the texture is firm but smooth, then roll it into a ball. Divide the dough into two parts.
  • Take one half and flatten it slightly to add crushed dry fruits of your choice.
  • Roll it into a smooth cylindrical shape and seal its edges for a clean look.
  • Take a sheet of parchment paper and spread some desi ghee over it.
  • Roll out the other half of the dough on the sheet, large enough to wrap around the cylindrical dough.
  • Seal both sides of the mithai.
  • Refrigerate the mithai for around 15-20 minutes before cutting it into slices.

This no-cook Diwali mithai is surely going to be a hit with your guests. It can be prepared in advance and refrigerated, thus saving more time. Also, it works as a convenient option since all the ingredients are readily available at home.
