Excitement is gradually growing as Aamir Khan gets ready for Sitaare Zameen Par's big theatrical debut.
This forthcoming release, which is being hailed as a spiritual follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, features ten new actors in an emotional story that seeks to enlighten and inspire viewers.
Ahead of what looks to be a socially conscious and emotionally impactful cinematic experience, the trailer and musical selections have already received positive reviews.
Amid this growing buzz, noted author and philanthropist Sudha Murty recently attended a special screening of the film and shared glowing praise for the project.
Deeply moved by its sensitive portrayal of an important issue, she commended the film’s narrative and its potential to drive change. “Watched Sitaare Zameen Par. It's Aamir Khan Production, and Aamir Khan has acted in it. It’s an eye-opener, I feel, because many people don't understand such children. What’s normal is in itself a big philosophical question. But his film is very beautiful, where you understand that they are very sensitive and pure-hearted. They always smile because they are so simple in their approach to life. When someone achieves what you have not achieved, you still enjoy it when someone is enjoying it.”
Sudha Murty went on to reflect on the film’s broader message and philosophical depth. “These are very great and philosophical lessons that you learn from these people, and the film includes them. This movie can bring a lot of changes, actually, and it can also make people sensitive on the issue of intellectual disability, and one should not look down upon them.”
Sitaare Zameen Par, which is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit under the Aamir Khan Productions banner, also features Genelia Deshmukh in a key role.
