Sobhita Dhulipala proudly flaunted her engagement ring in a new set of Instagram photos, marking her recent engagement to Naga Chaitanya. At a recent event, the actress donned a chic yellow and black saree, accessorized with her eye-catching engagement ring. Her post garnered much attention, including a like from fiancé Naga Chaitanya and praise from Shibani Dandekar, who called her a “Stunner.”
The couple, who had been dating for nearly two years, got engaged last month in an intimate ceremony. Naga Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna, shared the first official photos from the ceremony, expressing joy in welcoming Sobhita into the family and wishing the couple a lifetime of love.
To announce their relationship, the couple shared a heartfelt message featuring a poetic verse from Kurunthogai, translated by A.K. Ramanujan. The passage beautifully captures the essence of their love: “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love, our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting.” This verse symbolizes the deep, inseparable bond they share.
Rumors suggest the couple is planning a traditional yet intimate wedding in Rajasthan. Naga Chaitanya hinted that while the ceremony will honor traditions, it will remain personal and meaningful, avoiding the extravagance of a "big fat wedding."

The couple’s romance became public in 2022 when photos of them dining together in London went viral. Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, with whom he separated in 2021.
On the professional front, Sobhita was recently seen in Monkey Man, a film that received international praise, though it has yet to be released in India.
