Actress Shefali Jariwala tragically passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42 due to cardiac arrest. Actor Shoaib Ibrahim, one of the many celebrities mouring her untimely death, expressed his sorrow and shock in his most recent vlog, Simar Ki Bhabhiyaan Milne Aayee. Shoaib responded to the devastating news by expressing his profound sadness over Shefali's untimely death, particularly in light of her reputation as a health nut.

In addition to leaving her loved ones devastated, her unexpected cardiac arrest has spurred discussions about how unpredictable life can be, even for those who appear to be in excellent health.

"Ek young lady jo itna fitness freak, kiss tareeke se yeh hosakta hai. Parag ki halat dekhke main samajh sakta hun ki iss waqt uske aandar kya beet rahi hogi and uske family pe bhi (A young lady who is such a fitness freak — how could something like this happen? Looking at Parag’s condition, I can understand what he must be going through right now, and what his family must be going through as well)."

He further added, "Main use kabhi personally nhi jana paya hun but jitna abhi maine social media pe aur yeh sab pe dekha hai, uska kaam dekha hai, Shefali bohot badi fitness freak thi. Bohot zyada woh apne diet and health ko leke concious rehti thi. Uske baad bhi iss age mein cardiac arrest matlab, dekho bas yahi hai ki maut ka koi bharosa nhi hai, kab kya hojaye.... enjoy karo life ko and baaki sab chod do upar wale pe (I never got the chance to know her personally, but from what I’ve seen recently on social media and elsewhere—her work and all—Shefali was a huge fitness freak. She was extremely conscious about her diet and health. Even then, to have a cardiac arrest at this age… it just shows that there's no certainty in life. You never know what might happen and when. So, just enjoy life and leave the rest to the one above)."
