Shah Rukh Khan visits Farah Khan’s house along with Gauri Khan and Suhana Khan to mourn Menka Irani's demise

On July 26, Bollywood was deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Menka Irani, mother of renowned filmmakers Farah Khan and Sajid Khan. The 79-year-old took her last breath on Friday, leaving a void in the lives of her loved ones and the industry. Since the tragic news broke, numerous Bollywood stars have been visiting Farah Khan's home to pay their last respects and support the grieving family.

Shah Rukh Khan along with wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan were seen arriving at Farah Khan's residence. The couple share a close bond with the Khan siblings, and they made a conscious effort to be there in their time of need. Shah Rukh Khan, stepping out of his luxury car, was seen accompanied by Gauri and his manager.

Several other B-town celebrities made their way to Farah and Sajid Khan's home to offer their condolences. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Shilpa Shetty, Fardeen Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, and Bhushan Kumar were among the many who came to express their sympathies.

In addition to Bollywood stars, notable personalities from other fields also paid their respects. Politician Shiv Thakare and television personality Shoaib Ibrahim were seen arriving at the residence, demonstrating the wide-reaching impact Menka Irani had on those around her.

Just weeks before her passing, Farah Khan had shared a heartfelt post on social media in celebration of her mother’s 79th birthday. The Main Hoon Na director praised her mother's strength and resilience, recounting how she maintained her sense of humour despite undergoing multiple surgeries. Farah wrote, "We all take our mothers for granted, especially me! This last month has been a revelation on how much I love my mom Menka. She’s been the strongest, bravest person I've ever seen, sense of humor intact even after multiple surgeries. Happy birthday mom! Today’s a good day to come back home, can’t wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again. I love you."

For those unfamiliar, Menka Irani had a brief stint in the film industry herself, having appeared in the 1963 movie Bachpan, which was led by Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan. Her legacy, however, lives on through her children, Farah and Sajid, who have made significant contributions to Indian cinema.
