Shah Rukh admitted that the Met Gala wasn’t initially on his radar, but his children’s enthusiasm gave him the final push. “I have kids who are very excited about the Met. I don’t know if I would have come here on my own, but when Sabyasachi suggested it, my kids went ‘wow’,” he shared. “I didn’t know if it was ‘wow’ for me though."

And yet, as he stepped onto the carpet in a sleek, shirtless black suit with layered gold chains and a striking “K” pendant—designed by Sabyasachi Mukherji—SRK looked every bit the global icon.
