Salman Khan opens up about his health struggles, says "trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein..."

Salman Khan addresses his health woes

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 and shared some shocking details about his life. He was the first guest of the show and debuted a most fit look. However, he reflected on his health woes and casually revealed his struggles with a disease.

During the episode, the actor revealed that he has trigeminal neuralgia and an aneurysm in his brain. He also revealed that he has an AV malformation and his ribs are fractured. The actor talked about how a marriage can drain him financially and emotionally, and he had to start from scratch, which could be tough considering his condition.

He said. “Hum ye jo daily ki haddiyan tudwa rahe hain, pasliyan toot gai, trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain. (I'm out here breaking my bones every day — ribs are fractured, I'm working despite having trigeminal neuralgia, there's an aneurysm in the brain, yet I'm still working)."

He added, "AV malformation hai, uske bawajood chal rahe hain ( There’s also an AV malformation, and still, I'm carrying on).”

However, this is not the first time Salman has revealed his diagnosis with trigeminal neuralgia. During a promotional event in Dubai for his 2017 film Tubelight, the actor reflected on his trigeminal neuralgia diagnosis.

He revealed that he was suffering from a painful facial nerve disorder. The actor also called it a suicidal disease because many patients develop suicidal tendencies.

Salman reportedly started having symptoms of trigeminal neuralgia around 2007. He was shooting his film Partner when he endured severe pain. He underwent surgery in 2011 in the US.

On the work front, Salman was last seen in Sikandar, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles. He is now gearing up for some of the exciting titles, including Galwan. He is expected to start the shooting of his upcoming film in Ladakh soon.
