Rashmika Mandanna recently appeared on Jagapathi Babu’s talk show Jayammu Nischayammu Raa, where she was promoting her upcoming film The Girlfriend. But it wasn’t just the film that drew attention, it was Rashmika’s engagement ring, seen clearly for the first time, that set tongues wagging.
Dressed in a stylish printed suit, Rashmika looked radiant as she interacted with the audience and greeted them with her trademark finger hearts. However, the gleaming engagement ring on her finger quickly stole the spotlight. The show’s host, Jagapathi Babu, playfully teased her.
The teasing continued as Jagapathi noticed the array of rings on Rashmika’s fingers. “So are these rings sentimental or…?” he asked. Rashmika replied with a smile, “They’re very important rings.” Jagapathi nudged further, saying, “I’m sure one of those rings is your favourite and there’s a history behind it.” The actor blushed, adding only, “I am enjoying it.”
Zee5’s official social media account shared a clip of the moment with a meme that read, “Aa ring evaru iccharo cheppandayya (Someone please tell us who gave the ring).” Fans jumped into the comments, with one joking, “Emo kaani evaro okaru matram icharu (I don’t know, but I guess someone gave it to her).”

According to reports, Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in October this year. Though neither actor has made an official announcement or shared photos, Vijay’s team confirmed the engagement to Hindustan Times and revealed that the wedding is set for February 2026. The two have been rumoured to be dating since their collaborations in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019).
