Priyanka Chopra arrives in Mumbai for a short trip, will unveil the trailer of her Marathi movie Paani

Global star Priyanka Chopra is back in India, days after wrapping the shoot of her new film The Bluff.

Fans were surprised to see the actress back in Mumbai in the wee hours of Friday (August 23). But the actress is in Mumbai for the launch of the trailer of her firs Marathi production Paani.

Priyanka Chopra walked out alone at the airport and waved to the waiting photographers. She was seen in a floral co-ord set along with a crop top and baseball cap.

Some fans were surprised to see Priyanka back in India so soon and one wrote in the comment section: "What, what is she doing there, that is a surprise "

Another wrote: "Oh pardesi girl finally Mumbai aagaya "

Since the actress was travelling solo without her daughter, some fans guessed that it is going to be a short trip as she always brings Malti along on the sets of her shoots.

Priyanka had visited Mumbai last month with her husband Nick Jonas for the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The couple had attended the wedding on July 12 and returned to NYC the next day as she was shooting for The Bluff at that time.

Priyanka had recently shared the first teaser of the Marathi movie Paani, which is going to release in October.

Talking about her movie The Bluff, it is directed by Frank E Flowers and had actor Karl Urban as the lead with her.

The Bluff is set in the 19th-century Caribbean and follows the story of a former female pirate, which is being played by Priyanka Chopra.

She will also be seen in Heads of State with John Cena, Idris Elba and Jack Quaid.
