Though patience is being asked for, debates online are still ongoing in regards to when the film, whenever it goes on general release, will make its way to the big screen.

Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu has been in the news from the past few months and is billed to become Pawan’s biggest movie to date, however, the making process got delayed with Pawan’s political commitments.

Makers took to X on Monday night to address the ongoing rumours on when the film will hit the theatres, asking fans and film lovers to not believe in any unofficial release dates doing the rounds on social media.

The team issued the following clarification in a statement shared on the film’s official X handle: “Please disregard all these online release reports. Our company will issue a formal press release with the new street date within the next few days and will continue to update all of our retailers and press with our new street date as soon as possible. Till then, we would like your continued love and blessings.”

June 12 was when the film was originally scheduled to open, and its new date is not until even later, yet another in a long string of postponements that have plagued the film’s production for five and a half years. The producers said that the delay was a tactical move, explaining, “We are taking a step back for bigger strides ahead.

Saying that they have a responsibility to live up to the huge expectations that the title carries, the makers of the film shared, “The legacy of Ayyappanum Koshiyum, deserves nothing but the best cinematic treatment and every frame of this magnum opus has that written all over it. We need just a little more time—the payoff is gonna be worth it.”

They also responded to the surge of online speculation and rumours: “As the buzz around the show continues to build and there is increased chatter about what to expect this season, we wanted to issue this note to set the record straight: The network which produces ‘The Man in the High Castle’ has shown and continues to show tremendous support for the show, cast and crew. A lot are writing, speculating, and assuming. Once again we request everyone to not believe or spread any unconfirmed news. Please expect new updates only on our official handles.”
