Anunay Sood, travel influencer and businessman who lived in Dubai, sadly passed away at the age of 32.

The tourism and creative industries around the world have been rocked by the news of his sudden passing.

In a heartfelt note shared on his Instagram handle, Anunay’s family wrote, “It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing.” They have also requested his fans and followers to respect their privacy and refrain from gathering near their home.

As of now, the family has not revealed the cause of death, and even authorities in Las Vegas, haven't issued an official statement.

Anunay was originally from Delhi-NCR, India, and completed his schooling at Delhi Public School, Noida, followed by his graduation from Amity University.

In recent years, he had shifted base to Dubai, managing his travel content and his digital marketing company.

Reports confirm that Anunay was in Las Vegas, Nevada to be a part of a luxury automobile event called Concours at Wynn Las Vegas just days before his passing.

His final Instagram post, dated November 4, 2025, read: “Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines. Which one would you take for a spin?”

The post featured images of him posing beside classic and supercars.

Anunay Sood was known as one of India’s most popular travel influencers, because of his travel photography and unique storytelling style. Over the years, he had visited 46 countries. He had managed to document hidden gems and speak about the local cultures of the countries he visited.

Anunay had 1.4 million followers on Instagram and over 380K subscribers on YouTube. He had also posted video on his visit to Switzerland.

Anunay Sood was also listed among Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars for three consecutive years from 2022 - 2024.

He had collaborated with leading global tourism boards, which included Switzerland Tourism, Visit Saudi, and New Zealand Tourism.

As per influencer analytics platforms and data available online, Anunay’s estimated net worth was between Rs 7–8 crore.

Besides that his Instagram brand collaborations reportedly earned him $3,800–$5,200 per month and YouTube ad revenue brought in $400–$9,000 monthly.

Despite widespread speculations online, including unverified claims of a cardiac arrest, there has been no official confirmation about how the famous influencer died at such a young age. His family has chosen not to release details.
