Akshay Kumar and Disha Patani wrap up Welcome to the Jungle song shoot in Dubai, director Ahmed Khan shares latest update

Ahmed Khan shared a major update about the third installment of the Welcome franchise on Instagram on Wednesday.

Akshay Kumar and Disha Patani’s upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle has been creating a lot of excitement since it was announced. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the team recently wrapped up a song schedule in Dubai, and glimpses from the shoot were shared by the director on social media.

Several paparazzi videos surfaced on Wednesday evening showing Akshay, Disha, and Ahmed Khan at Mumbai airport. They were seen arriving amidst fans, bodyguards, and photographers. Fans got a closer look at the stars as they made their way through the airport, with Disha even taking selfies with them, delighting everyone present.

Ahmed Khan shared a major update about the third installment of the Welcome franchise on Instagram on Wednesday.

He posted a selfie featuring himself, his wife Shaira, Akshay, and Disha seated on the flight back from Dubai after completing the song shoot. The caption read, “From set life to jet life Fun time after wrapping the Dubai Song #welcometothejungle.”

Disha looked chic in a white sleeveless crop top with brown bottoms and a jacket tied around her waist, while Akshay was spotted at the airport wearing an all-black ensemble consisting of a shirt and matching trousers. Before leaving for their vehicle, they were also seen giving Ahmed Khan a hug.

A reimagined version of the well-known song Uncha Lamba Kad from the first Welcome movie, which starred Akshay and Katrina Kaif, is also thrilling fans. Disha Patani co-stars with Akshay in this updated version of Welcome to the Jungle.

On Tuesday, Akshay shared a lively Instagram video showing himself and Disha grooving to the catchy track. In the post, he paid tribute to Katrina Kaif, writing, “From our hearts to yours!! What a throwback, 18 years and still an all-time favourite. With so much nostalgia, beautiful Disha and I bring you ‘Welcome to the Jungle’… Never forgetting our Queen Katrina #WelcomeToTheJungle #Welcome3.”

Although the official release date of the film is yet to be announced, the movie promises a star-studded ensemble cast. Alongside Akshay and Disha, it will feature Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Suniel Shetty, Johnny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rahul Dev, and the singer brothers Daler Mehndi and Mika, among others. Fans are eagerly waiting for more updates as the film gears up for its release.
