Samantha Ruth Prabhu is back in the headlines today, not just for her intimate wedding with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, but also because an old interview clip of hers has resurfaced online and sparked fresh debate. As fans celebrate her new chapter, social media is revisiting a moment from years ago when Samantha openly shared her surprising views on Hrithik Roshan’s looks.

The throwback clip, originally from an interview with Sakshi TV, has been circulating across Reddit and X. In the video, Samantha is seen participating in a rapid-fire segment where she was asked to rate popular actors based purely on their appearance. What followed has once again become internet chatter.

Samantha rates Ranbir, Hrithik, Shahid, Mahesh, Naga Chaitanya by their looks in an interview from way early in her career - how might her answer’s change now that she’s more involved with Bollywood?

She began by giving Mahesh Babu a perfect score. “Ten on ten. I don’t even have to think,” she said with a smile, making it clear he topped her list. Things shifted when the interviewer mentioned Hrithik Roshan, widely nicknamed the Greek God of Bollywood. Samantha hesitated before admitting, “Everyone will kill me, but I don’t like Hrithik’s looks too much,” and rated him a 7 out of 10. The clip captures her being both honest and slightly amused at her own answer.

What people tend to remember most is her rating for ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. She placed him on par with Mahesh, giving him a 10/10 and saying she found him better looking than Hrithik. The moment has re-entered conversation today, given how much their lives have changed since. Samantha and Chaitanya first met on the sets of Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010, fell in love a few years later, married in 2017, and announced their separation in 2021. Their divorce was granted in 2023.

In the same interview, Samantha also rated Ranbir Kapoor an 8/10. When Shahid Kapoor’s name came up, she offered a funny before-and-after assessment. “Shahid before Kaminey – 5/10, after Kaminey – 9/10,” she said, referring to his career-defining shift in the 2009 film.

The resurfaced video comes at a time when Samantha is in the middle of a busy professional phase.

As Samantha steps into a new personal chapter with Raj Nidimoru, her old comments are once again reminding fans how candid she has always been. The clip may be years old, but its timing adds an extra layer of intrigue to a day already filled with headlines.
