Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman is all set to star in the new series adapted from Girls and Their Horses by Eliza Jane Brazier. She will also serve as an executive producer along with Per Saari under their Blossom Films banner in the upcoming murder mystery series for streaming service Prime Video.
According to Variety, the series is currently under early development stage and will be co-produced by Legendary Television and Amazon MGM Studios. Eliza Jane Brazier has penned the episodes, and Jenna Lamia will serve as showrunner and executive producer.
The official plotline of the series reads, “A murder-mystery set in the beachside equestrian community of Rancho Santa Fe, California, ‘Girls and Their Horses’ follows the newly wealthy Parker family as they aim to position their teenage daughters in the rarified, sometimes-deadly world of competitive horse riding.”
However, the further casting details of the upcoming series have been kept under wraps. Girls and Their Horses was published by Berkley with an imprint of Penguin Random House.

Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman and Jenna Lamia have previously collaborated on the popular miniseries The Perfect Couple. The actress starred and executive produced the Netflix series, which was created by Lamia. The miniseries also stars Meghann Fahy, Eve Hewson, Dakota Fanning and Ishaan Khatter in the pivotal roles.
Nicole was most recently seen in Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 alongside newcomers Henry Golding, Lena Olin, Annie Murphy and Christine Baranski. She will also feature in two more upcoming series, Scarpetta at Prime Video and Margo’s Got Money Troubles at Apple TV+.
