Naga Chaitanya reveals how he first met Sobhita Dhulipala, calls her family girl

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are preparing to tie the knot on December 4 at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. During a recent interview, Chaitanya opened up about their close-knit wedding celebrations and cherishing moments spent with Sobhita and her family.

In an interview with Zoom, Naga Chaitanya expressed his happiness about getting to know Sobhita and her family over the past few months, and expressed that it has been heartwarming to see the families bond. He shared his excitement for the upcoming wedding, looking forward to experiencing the rituals and witnessing the two families come together.

Speaking about their wedding, Naga Chaitanya said, "It’s going to be an elaborate and lavish wedding in terms of the rituals that we are going to follow.Sobhita’s family has taken a keen interest in this, and I’m totally looking forward to the experience. It’s a very intimate guest list with only immediate family and friends."

While interacting with Zoom Chaitanya also shed light in his first meeting with Sobhita and how they bonded. " I was in Mumbai for the launch of my OTT show; during that time, she did have a show with the same platform as well. During the event hosted by the OTT platform is where we first interacted," said the Thandel actor.

Calling Sobhita a family girl, he further spoke about his relations with her family and said, "Like every Telugu household, Sobhita’s family too is very cultured and affectionate. I am treated like a son. There has been a lot of comfort and many things in common from the get-go. Sobhita is a family girl, and we have all celebrated a couple of festivals together as well."

Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya earlier announced their engagement in August this year after dating for two years.

Meanwhile on the work front, Naga Chaitanya will be next seen in the upcoming fim Thandel, set to released on Feb 7, 2025.
