Mumbai Police books 2 individuals for gatecrashing Anant Ambani’s wedding

After following legal protocols, the authorities released Alluri and Sheikh, having issued them notices for their actions.

In a surprising turn of events, two men, Venkatesh Narasaiya Alluri, a 26-year-old YouTuber, and Lukman Mohammad Shafi Sheikh, a 28-year-old self-proclaimed businessman, managed to infiltrate the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. According to ANI, the Mumbai Police apprehended the duo who had traveled all the way from Andhra Pradesh to crash the star-studded affair.

The BKC police took the men into custody, registering separate cases against them. After following legal protocols, the authorities released Alluri and Sheikh, having issued them notices for their actions.

Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and MD of Reliance Industries Limited, wed Radhika Merchant, the daughter of pharmaceutical magnates Viren and Shaila Merchant, in a lavish ceremony. The event took place at Mumbai's Jio World Drive, an upscale convention centre owned by the Ambani family, and was attended by a glittering array of celebrities, politicians, film stars, and cricketers.

The wedding festivities spanned the weekend, with the "Shubh Aashirwad" ceremony held on Saturday followed by a grand reception on Sunday. The guest list read like a who's who of global and national prominence.

Among the political figures in attendance were Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former President Ram Nath Kovind, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, NCP leader Sharad Pawar, Union Minister Chirag Paswan, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, and Congress leader Sachin Pilot. Maharashtra's political heavyweights, including Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, also graced the occasion.

The event wasn't short on international star power either. Reality TV icons Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe, Nigerian music sensation Rema, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, and prominent business figures like Amin Nasser, CEO of Saudi Aramco, and Jay Lee, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, were also present, adding to the glamour of the evening.
