Shah Rukh Khan is reading a script for a new movie called ‘King’ co-starring Suhana Khan, watch

Multiple reports have claimed that SRK is working on a new film titled ‘King’ along with his daughter Suhana Khan. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan might have pulled a Tom Holland and leaked the title of his upcoming film.

The ‘Happy New Year’ actor recorded a video for the 77th Cannes Film Festival wherein he is congratulating cinematographer Santosh Sivan who is receiving the prestigious Pierre Angenieux Excel Lens award. His message was very sweet, “Genius is not thought out, it is felt,” he said.

But what caught the eyes of the fans most was a file kept on the side table next to him with the word ‘KING’ written on it.

Fans are going crazy over this easter egg and rightfully so.

Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh is reportedly directing the film that has apparently been in production since a few months now. Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures have reportedly joined the film as producers. They also produced ‘Fighter’.

Initially, SRK was just supposed to have a short role in the film but reports suggest that he will be leading the film next to his daughter, Suhana Khan.

A source spoke about the film’s plot, “The flavour of action in King will be very different from what SRK has done in Pathaan and Jawan. This one would be sleek, with a lot of chase sequences. However, the core plot is emotional and driven by the story. It has lots of twists and turns, which is the reason why Sujoy has been bestowed with the responsibility of direction.”
