In the past, Siddharth Anand and Saif Ali Khan collaborated on the popular films "Salaam Namaste" and "Ta Ra Rum Pum," which still has a strong emotional impact on viewers.

Siddharth Anand is reuniting with Saif Ali Khan after 17 years for an upcoming project. Calling Saif Ali Khan his “first hero”, the ‘Fighter’ director took to his social media handle to share pictures with him from Budapest as they gear up for a project.

While the first photo sees the actor-director duo posing for the picture, the second glimpse sees them involved in a deep conversation.

Though the name of the upcoming film is not mentioned, it is reported that the two are collaborating for ‘Jewel Thief’. Sharing the photos on Instagram, Siddharth Anand wrote, “Back on set with my first hero! How can nothing change! Haha! Love you Saif!”

Some fans also asked the director to make a sequel to Tara Rum Pum.

According to media reports, this upcoming project, which brings together Saif Ali Khan and Siddharth Anand, is backed by the latter’s Marflix Pictures. This heist drama in an action genre will be a direct-to-digital release.
