Priyanka Chopra recently shared a video on her Instagram account of her travelling with her daughter Malti Marie Jonas to Australia for her new film ‘The Bluff’.
The video showed an adorably inquisitive Malti at the airport and then it cut to her lying on Priyanka Chopra’s lap and playing games on the plane. Chopra ended the video with a mesmerising blue ocean as she landed in Australia.
She captioned the video as - “Touchdown..The Bluff. With the best travel partner ever.”
The announcement for ‘The Bluff’ was initially made in March, 2024. The film is set in 19th century Caribbean and Chopra will star alongside ‘The Boys’ actor Karl Urban.
Chopra announced her involvement by posting a picture of a Deadline article. She captioned the post with a Mark Twain quote - “Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates. -Mark Twain.”
The Amazon MGM Studios film ‘The Bluff’ is set to be directed by Frank E. Flowers. Flowers also co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Ballarini. It is set in the 19th century Caribbean and it follows a female pirate (Priyanka Chopra) who must protect her family the the consequences of her past sins catch up to her.
The film will be available to stream on Prime Video in about 240 countries and territories worldwide. The producers include Priyanka Chopra, AGBO’s Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot and Michael Disco, Cinestar Pictures’ Cisely Saldana and Mariel Saldana.
‘The Bluff’ will mark the second collaboration between Priyanka Chopra and Amazon MGM Studios. Their previous project was the global franchise ‘Citadel’. The espionage thriller starred Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. It became the second most watched new original series on Prime Video in the United States.
