The global icon has now flown to Hyderabad for her much-talked-about project with filmmaker SS Rajamouli and superstar Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled SSMB29. This collaboration marks her first on-screen pairing with Mahesh Babu, making it one of the most anticipated films in Indian cinema.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Priyanka shared a series of clips from the streets of Hyderabad, tagging Mahesh Babu in one of them. Fans were quick to notice her excitement as she captioned a post from her flight, “And we’re off again… destination exciting.” She even uploaded a video of her plane landing in Hyderabad, confirming her arrival for the shoot.

The project has been in development for months, with Rajamouli teasing fans about the scale and ambition of the film. Earlier, commemorating Mahesh Babu’s birthday on August 9, the RRR director revealed that the team was crafting something extraordinary. He promised that the upcoming reveal in November 2025 would showcase the essence, depth, and immersive storytelling that Rajamouli’s films are known for. “Dear Cinema Lovers in India and around the world, it has been a while since we began shooting, and we appreciate your eagerness to know about the film,” Rajamouli wrote on X. “The story and scope are so vast that mere pictures or press conferences cannot do it justice.”

He added, “We are currently working on something that will showcase the essence, depth, and immersive world we are creating. This will be unveiled in November 2025, and we are trying to make it a never-before-seen reveal.”

Ever since its announcement, SSMB29 has been the subject of constant buzz. Reports suggest that Mahesh Babu is performing all his stunts himself without the help of a body double, further raising expectations about the film’s action scale.
